You are definitely going to see this post repeated throughout our journey. As we run into different visa issues, expenses, planning, timing, schedules, friends, international unrest etc. plans are going to change. We have learned that flexibility is probably the one thing we have to work on in our life. In our work life/personal life in Denver, we don’t have a lot of flexibility with our day to day routines, so not only are we going to have to be flexible with travel but we are going to have to mentally work on being flexible. OK, that was the yogi in me talking, I just took my practice off the mat and into my daily life!! My yoga teachers would be so proud of me! Now for our new itinerary, we have sadly eliminated Hawaii:(

I just returned from a year long trip around the world as well – you guys will have a blast! With the exception of a couple of countries (NZ and some of western Europe) you are going to entirely different places than us though, so I am looking forward to your blog to follow along.
