We made it to San Francisco on Wednesday afternoon and were graciously greeted by Katie Reid (our good friend from Denver, who moved to SF a few years ago).
Our last few days in Denver were spent saying goodbye to good friends, and literally stuffing everything we own into our garage. Our garage looks like a real life version of the game of Tetris. If we ever have the chance to do something amazing like this or if you are thinking of packing up your life to leave for a little bit, some wise words of wisdom would be to give yourself more than 4 days to complete everything. I would say 7-10 days would be more efficient and create a much more loving environment in the householdJ
A majority of the time spent on Thursday was occupied by errands such as, the Indian Visa outsourcing company, Apple store to unlock IPhones, Walgreens to fill scripts etc. Fun stuff…
However, on Friday we woke up and borrowed some bikes and rode them all the way to Sausalito, a little town across the bay of SF. We rode the bikes over the Golden Gate Bridge and back, it was great to see some of the amazing views by the waterfront.
From the pics you will see that we have had some very overcast and somewhat chilly weather in SF.
Our last day in SF, turned out to be super sunny!! We rented kayaks in Sausalito and spent the afternoon soaking up some sun rays!
Tonight we head to Portland!
pics tomorrow when we have better Internet.
